Summary
The Personal Lines Insurance Advisor position is responsible for driving incremental top line growth by selling personal lines products via communication channels to existing and new Agency customers and Jewelers Mutual Personal Lines customer’s base.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, internet leads and outbound calls and emails.
- Persuasive negotiations skills and highly effective listening and communication skills
- Prepare personalized personal lines insurance quotes to prospects
- Facilitate a sales culture to maximize retention, customer satisfaction, and up-sell and cross sell opportunities with each customer interaction
- Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas.
- Works with Management on the creation of marketing plans/promotions.
- Maintains accurate client data in agency management system.
- Will maintain strong relationship with carrier partners
- Maintain product knowledge for P&C lines of business written through agent distribution channel

Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- Prefer 2 years of experience selling personal lines products in a multiline insurance agency environment insurance sales experience.
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Property/Casualty Insurance Agent License required and CISR designation preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls; and talk or hear.
