What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Assembly position at Jewell Instruments?

We are currently seeking a motivated, flexible and adaptable Electronics Calibrator to work first shift; Monday – Thursday 7:00 am to 4:15 pm and Friday 7:00 to 12:00 pm.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform electromechanical production assembly and assembly operations of a repetitive nature
- Assemblies and installs various electrical mechanical components where operations and sequences are specified by established documentation
- Must have ability to work with small electronic components and can work under a microscope
- May perform routine tasks in preparation for assembly such as cutting wire to specified size, bending wire parts, or wiring and fastening connections.
- Assemble components accurately ensuring quality work and able to meet individual productivity goals
- Assist with various production tasks as needed
Requirements
- Experience in general assembly preferred, but not required
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must have good manual dexterity
- Able to work in a team environment
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
