A Richmond, VA based Custom Factory automated Machinery Company, is seeking Mechanical Assembly Technicians to join our team!
The responsibilities of the technician are as follows:
· Assembly, alignment, and startup, of precision custom automated machinery
· Communicate with mechanical and electrical engineers & management
· Ability to troubleshoot and contribute ideas and solutions to the equipment development team
To be successful in this position the ideal candidate will have these key skills and attributes:
· Strong mechanical aptitude
· Ability to read & understand mechanical drawings
· Ability to understand pneumatic schematics
· Experience with common machine elements (bearings, gearboxes, etc.)
· Understanding of basic measuring tools (height gages, dial indicators, calipers, etc.)
· Basic machine shop skills are a strongly beneficial (mill, lathe, etc.)
· Must be able to work alone or in teams
· Strong verbal communication ability

This position will require occasional travel to assist with equipment installation and each technician will be responsible to provide your own basic hand tools. Salary is commensurable with experience. Background and drug screening are required.

Pay: $16.00 - $28.00 per hour
