What are the responsibilities and job description for the Collections Associate position at JF Petroleum Group?
Description
- Monitor each account for past dues, call the customer to inquire on payment
- To ensure all accounts are kept current and handle all necessary actions
- To review portals to make sure all invoices are submitted also assist on submissions
- To process monthly statements or spread sheets of accounts
- To provide customer service and make sure customers needs are taking care of
- To communicate with all branches to discuss issues with invoicing
- To analyze accounts and process necessary credits/adjustments
- The Collections Specialist are required to at least 30 calls daily
- Email the customer and follow up with a call
- A call log is requested at the end of the day and reviewed by the Manager
- Cash receipts are processed
- Credit Card payments are processed
- Customer Service at all times and negotiate balances
Requirements
- High School Diploma required, college degree preferred
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Previous Customer Service experience highly preferred
- Previous Accounting experience/skills highly preferred
- Must be able to meet company’s employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR, if driving for the company
