What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Manager position at Jimmy John's Sandwiches?
THIS IS A HANDS-ON POSITION!
You will be standing, slicing, making sandwiches, taking orders, cleaning and managing in-shop and delivery drivers just to scratch the surface.
Duties include:
- Meat and vegetable slicing, bread production
- Responsible for 100% of the cash drawers at all times during the shift
- Supervision of the preparation, sales, and service of food
- Ensure that every customer receives world-class customer service
- Route deliveries and serve drivers to maximize delivery business and speed
- Weekly scheduling, truck orders & inventory
- Daily paperwork and money management
- Shift leading a staff of 6 or more employees

- Requirements:
- Must be willing to take deliveries
- Must have reliable transpiration
- Have a valid driver’s license
Compensation:

- One weekend day
- Closing shifts - 12pm-8:45pm
- Opening shifts - 6am-3pm
