The Senior HVAC Technician performs skilled, advanced journey-level duties in mechanical maintenance, inspection, installation, repair, and troubleshooting of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Performs preventive maintenance and routine servicing of all related equipment to JJ Powell, Inc. residential and commercial customers in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner.

Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Install new HVAC systems.
- Perform maintenance on HVAC systems, may also recommend maintenance to improve system performance.
- Repair malfunctioning HVAC systems and may replace worn or defective parts.
- Test and troubleshoot HVAC systems and installations after completion, may also inspect functioning systems for potential issues.
- Consult with customers to offer the best heating and cooling service.
- Keep records of work performed.
- Operate and manage company van, tools, and equipment following company guidelines.
- Maintain all required certifications and continuing education hours.
- Available primarily Monday – Friday during normal business hours with occasional evening and weekend work.

Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- 5 years of HVAC experience
- Completion of HVAC technical training program
- Equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job, will be considered
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of testing equipment and techniques
- Ability to use various hand and power tools common to trade
Salary : $26 - $32
