Job Description : Service Concierge
Location : Hyundai of El Cajon
Department : Buying Division
Reports To : Buying Division Manager
Job Summary :
The Service Concierge serves as the first point of contact for customers in the service department, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. This role combines the responsibilities of an automotive service greeter with additional duties related to vehicle appraisal for our buying division. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and adept at navigating technology.
Essential Job Functions :
Customer Service :
Greet all customers promptly and professionally upon arrival in the service drive.
- Provide information about service appointments, timelines, and processes.
- Ensure customers feel valued and attended to throughout their visit.
Vehicle Appraisal :
Conduct visual inspections and appraisals of customer vehicles to determine condition, mileage, and overall value using online appraisal software.
Appraisal Software Navigation :
Operate appraisal software to input vehicle data, generate appraisals, and retrieve relevant information.
Coordination and Communication :
Act as a liaison between customers, service advisors, and buyers.
Support Duties :
Assist with valet services, such as moving vehicles to and from service bays or parking areas.
Qualifications :
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to obtain a CA Occupational License through the DMV.
Work Environment :
This position is based primarily in the dealership's service area and may involve exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs) and operating vehicles are required.
