AV Support Technician (On Site)

The On Site Audio Visual Support Technician will:

· Provide exceptional support to end users utilizing meeting spaces equipped with various technologies.

· Assist end users in successful meetings by providing guidance on technology selection.

· Be the first point of contact for all room and user issues

· Monitor room and equipment status via both room checks (as per schedule and checklists defined) and remote monitoring systems.

· Respond to support requests that come in via email or phone.

· Perform high-touch meeting support services for executive spaces.

· Observe technology and room usage, and help making recommendations on improvements to the user experience in terms of technology, functionality and training.

· Identify IS environment changes that could impact the conference room technology and notify all parties to form a remediation plan.

Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of and experience in the current MS Teams, Video Conferencing, Presentation technologies.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and configuration as well as the interaction of various conference room technologies on the network.
• Ability to think and work independently and meet necessary deadlines.
• Problem solving, trouble-shooting and strong organizational skills.
• Professional-level interaction with employees, customers and colleagues.
• Highly effective oral communication and customer-facing skills.
• Document work via professional writing, spreadsheets, and internal ticketing software.
• Consistent ability to self-motivate in a rapid response environment.
• 3 years of experience with Audio/Visual technologies
• B.S. degree in a relevant field is preferred.
