Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Independent Cost Estimator based in Portland, OR. Class A office building fully ADA accessible. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, managing internal budgets, analyzing project costs, and providing recommendations to ensure optimal cost management. The role involves close collaboration with design teams and project owners to analyze project requirements, forecast financial needs, and control costs throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Cost analysis of options, researching Cost effective solutions, and Cost control
- Proficiency in Project Estimation and experience assessing material, labor, equipment, and total project costs
- Exceptional Analytical Skills to evaluate financial data, identify trends, and make informed decisions
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and an ability to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with construction industry standards and practices is highly advantageous
- Proficiency in cost estimation software tools and technology
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field
