What are the responsibilities and job description for the CLINICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST position at Job Juncture?
Qualifications
- Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field and a minimum of 5 years lab experience.
- ASCP Certification is required.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Medical Technologist with experience in Hematology and Coagulation, preferably experienced with validations, correlations and training lab staff on new laboratory instrumentation
- Some overnight travel will be required..

- Execute Clinical and analytical testing in the US to support product development for new Hematology and Hemostasis products(reagents and analyzers).
- Use knowledge and experience with instrument validation to perform interference, on-board stability, real-time-stability, Limit of Blank, Limit of Detection, Limit of quantification, Linearity, precision and Method Comparison testing.
- Resolve reagent based issues.
- Your lab knowledge will also be utilized in Post Sales support of the instrumentation.
- Represents the company at seminars, conventions, meetings, & wet workshops.
- Provides telephone support to machine operators.
- Base salary $68K - $88K depending on experience (Annual Bonus should add an additional $2K - $5K annually, possibly more)
