Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned
- Directs and performs work assignments for various janitorial duties; conducts inspections to check the completion of work assignments and to ensure compliance with contract SOW.
- Responsible for training new employees, demonstrating proper techniques with all equipment, and instilling a safety- first mentality.
- Ensure employees have adequate supplies and equipment for their assignments. Monitors team activities to establish individual performance trends, identifies training needs, and trains new and existing employees on proper cleaning techniques.
- Informs the Project Manager or Assistant Division Manager of any detrimental behaviors or incidents affecting client relationships or contract requirements. Keeps a running log updated with relevant details for the Supervisor, Leads, or Project Manager to reference. Contacts the Project Manager or Assistant Division Manager for immediate response to urgent incidents.
- Interacts with the Project Manager and Assistant Division Manager regularly to maintain open communication, coordinate efforts, and ensure the Assistant Project Manager understands and can confidently complete training tasks.
- Adheres to the company's policies, rules, regulations, technical procedures, and safety policies as communicated verbally or in writing.
- Ensure that all employees have the appropriate safety equipment and instruction on use of safety equipment in order to meet all safety standards. Review all items of the Safety Orientation Form with employees on their first day of work. Provide leadership to team members and present a professional image to customer and co- workers, fostering exceptional customer service skills.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining the Company Quality Control Plan and Meet requirements for CIMS Certification.
- Supply ordering online, meeting with vendors, and submitting paperwork to Corporate Office for payment.
- Vehicle upkeep, maintain vehicle maintenance logs, schedule repairs or services.
- Completes the Monthly Work Plan and submits it to the Government PAR and QAM on the 25th of each preceding month. Inputs completed dates and inspection verification upon completion and submits the completed Monthly Work Pan to PAR and QAM on the fifth of the following month.
- Attend all CIMS meetings and schedule employee ISSA Trainings as indicated on CIMS training requirements.
- Implements JOI Corrective Action Request Form or Non- Conformance form and follows up until they are resolved.
- Trains all employees on Work Process Procedures, provides retraining when necessary, and maintains individual training records.
- Maintains knowledge of current building cleaning schedules and verifies monthly changes.
- Punctual and regular attendance is required due to the nature of the work.
