Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (Finance Business Partner)

Duration: Contract to Hire

Location: Buffalo, NY 14213

Work Schedule: Hybrid schedule with in-office presence required Tuesday through Thursday

• Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our Global Markets Finance team. This role is a finance business partner role providing timely and sound financial reporting, financial planning, and decision support and insight to Enterprise and Global Markets Leaders, as well as the greater Finance organization, to ensure long-term, profitable growth. This role will also partner with local Finance Associates in our Global Markets subsidiaries to support their accounting and finance responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leveraging data analytics to drive financial decision-making and improve business performance.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

Financial Reporting

• Lead complex analysis to identify trends & patterns to identify potential areas for improvement; perform risk assessments.
• Support the development of monthly business review highlights to be shared with relevant key stakeholders.
• Enhance the development of robust financial review capabilities within the GM Finance team, including both WHQ & In-Market Finance teams.

Financial Analysis

• Evaluate, analyze, and deliver feedback on local monthly forecasts and annual targets; ensure that the appropriate level of detail and assumptions are provided and align with the market's strategy.
• Provide decision support by turning financial data into business insights when evaluating current performance, future forecasts, and new business opportunities.
• Utilize data analytics to identify financial trends, opportunities, and risks, and develop strategies to optimize financial performance.
• Provide financial analysis support to Sr Mgr. and VP, GM Finance, President and COO, GM, and CFO, as required.
• Provide direct support to business units and other cross-functional Associates, as required.

Be a trusted business partner within the Global Markets organization, including supporting local Markets, other GM support functions, and other parts of the Finance organization

Prepare ad hoc queries and presentations

Support the Upcoming ERP implementation initiative within GM and at WHQ.

Skills/Experience:

• Master's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience or 5 years with CPA or relevant degree/certification
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) required
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) dashboard and visualization tools preferred
• Proficiency with SAP S4/HANA toolsets is a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
