We are seeking a seasoned Consulting Security Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the consulting industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing, planning, and implementing security measures to protect our organization's systems and networks. This role requires a combination of project management, security expertise, and customer service skills. The candidate will work closely with our internal teams and external clients to ensure that all security requirements are met and exceeded. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects and make a significant impact on our organization's security posture.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of security projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meeting all necessary security requirements.
• Facilitate communication between all stakeholders, including internal teams, external clients, and vendors.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
• Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
• Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments, and recommend improvements where necessary.
• Ensure all security systems are up-to-date and in compliance with the latest regulations and standards.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring all client queries and concerns regarding security are addressed promptly and professionally.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a security project management role, preferably in the Engineering industry.
• Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of security solutions and systems.
• Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Strong understanding of information security principles and best practices.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or similar certification is preferred.
• Exceptional customer service skills, with a proven ability to handle client queries and concerns effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and act tactically.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must be a team player, but also able to work independently when required.
