We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and dedicated CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, ensuring the efficient running of production. Responsibilities
- Operate and manage Fanuc CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
- Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
- Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
- Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
- Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements.
- Test operation of machines periodically to guarantee their smooth running.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure machinery efficiency, proper job sequencing, and coordinated workflow.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- 2 years' experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in using Fanuc CNC and Fanuc software.
- Comprehensive knowledge of mill and lathe operations.
- Expertise in machine programming and CNC machine operation.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
- Mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
- A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma in engineering or relevant discipline is a plus.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items.
