Responsibilities
As an Electrical Assistant Project Manager, you will be expected to
- Assist in the planning and execution of electrical engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with project engineers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.
- Prepare and review submittals, project plans, specifications, and other technical documents.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the project team, helping to resolve any issues that may arise.
- Conduct regular project meetings, providing updates on project status, and discussing any changes or adjustments that may be needed.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including records of all project activities, decisions, and changes.
- Continuously evaluate project performance, using feedback to drive improvements in efficiency and effectiveness.
To be considered for the role of Electrical Assistant Project Manager, you should have
- A minimum of 1 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on commercial projects.
- Proven experience as a project engineer, with a strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
- Experience preparing and reviewing submittals, project plans, and other technical documents.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
