ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Our client is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer experienced in the design of automated machinery, control panels, and controls. Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, electronic controls (including PLC's & HMI's), and components in a hands on environment.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• BSEE or BS in Electrical Engineering Technology
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Highly motivated, organized, and self-directed
• Minimum of 3 years of related electrical engineering experience
• Computer literate. MS Office; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity using ERP systems.
Requirements:
• Proven ability to create electrical schematics, panel layouts, and machine wiring designs
• Proficient in using AutoCAD,
• Solid understanding of design for manufacturability
• A track record of developing solutions for production and manufacturing challenges
• Knowledge of machine level and related facilities electrical requirements
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and electrical testing design
• Understanding of design and application of sensor technologies
• Experience in programming and troubleshooting PLC & HMI's
• Understanding of machine communication protocols and data acquisition
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem solving skills
• Experience with LEAN or Six Sigma methodology is a plus
• Board level electronics design a plus
• Experience with 3D modeling a plus
