Awesome Hybrid Remote Patent Attorney Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic legal team as a highly motivated and experienced BSEE or BSCE Patent Attorney.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, protect, and grow the company's intellectual property portfolio, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
- Conduct thorough patent analyses and provide strategic advice on patentability, infringement, validity, and enforceability.
- Prepare and prosecute patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
- Handle IP transactions such as licensing, joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions.
- Represent the company in patent litigations and other IP disputes.
- Advise on the intellectual property aspects of contracts and agreements.
- Conduct intellectual property due diligence for business transactions.
- Provide training to company personnel on intellectual property matters.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Patent and Trademark Office registration with ITAR compliance.
- Extensive experience in patent prosecution, IP transactions, and patent litigation.
- Proficient in conducting patent analyses and developing IP strategies.
- Strong knowledge of intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
- Excellent legal research skills.
- Proficiency in using patent databases and other legal research tools.
