Responsibilities
As a Partner (Attorney), you will be expected to
- Handle all aspects of litigation, including trial, with a focus on employment defense, wage & hour, discrimination, and whistleblower cases.
- Serve as 1st chair litigator in trials, confidently leading the team and representing our clients' interests.
- Develop and implement innovative and effective legal strategies to achieve optimal results for our clients.
- Provide sound legal advice to clients on complex legal matters, ensuring that their rights are protected and their interests are represented.
- Collaborate with other members of the firm to drive the success of the firm and ensure the highest level of client satisfaction.
- Play a key role in business development activities, including client presentations, proposals, and negotiations.
- Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and industry trends that may impact our clients and the firm.
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Partner (Attorney) position should have
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on defense employment, wage & hour, discrimination, and whistleblower cases.
- Proven trial experience, preferably as a 1st chair litigator.
- Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and calm.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong business development skills, with a proven ability to attract and retain clients.
- Admitted to the bar in the state of California
- High ethical standards and professional integrity.
