Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury matters from intake through trial.
2. Conduct comprehensive case evaluations to assess the merits of each case.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
4. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
5. Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and addressing any concerns or questions.
6. Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy development.
7. Utilize case management software, PACER, and Excel to organize and track case details.
8. Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to ensure the best possible outcome for our clients.
9. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in personal injury law and adjust strategies accordingly.
10. Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. Active member of the Texas State Bar.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience as an attorney, preferably in personal injury litigation.
4. Proven experience with case management software, PACER, and Excel.
5. Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle complex legal issues.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on client-facing interactions.
7. Demonstrated ability to negotiate, persuade, and influence outcomes.
8. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
9. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
