Our prestigious law firm is seeking a dynamic, experienced Permanent Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling plaintiff personal injury cases involving auto trucking. This is a unique opportunity to work in a challenging yet rewarding environment where you will have the chance to make a significant impact on the lives of our clients. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, negotiations, and trial preparation. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal industry.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in personal injury proceedings.
• Analyze probable outcomes of cases, using knowledge of legal precedents.
• Examine legal data to determine advisability of defending or prosecuting lawsuits.
• Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
• Gather evidence to formulate defense or to initiate legal actions, by such means as interviewing clients and witnesses to ascertain the facts of a case.
• Conduct pre-trial discovery, handle depositions, and attend court hearings.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in complex personal injury cases.
• Advise clients concerning business transactions, claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations.
• Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.
  
  

Job Details

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with at least 5 years of experience.
• Proven track record of success in personal injury cases, specifically auto trucking incidents.
• Exceptional analytical skills, with a strong ability to review and understand complex legal documents.
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to advocate effectively and persuasively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at ease with a variety of clients.
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of performance.
• Must have a high degree of professional ethics and integrity.
• Experience in trial preparation and courtroom litigation.
• Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
