- Work Hybrid Remote
- Tax Compliance Oversight Ensure tax returns comply with relevant laws and regulations, overseeing the review process for accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborative Strategy Development Work closely with team members to identify tax-saving opportunities and optimize client strategies, fostering effective teamwork and knowledge sharing.
- Continuous Learning and Adaptation Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and regulations, proactively adjusting firm practices and strategies to ensure compliance and maximize client benefits.
- Client Relationship Management Serve as the primary contact for client accounts, leading pre-engagement planning, managing execution, and delivering high-quality results, while also providing strategic financial and tax planning advice.
- Research and Analysis Conduct thorough research on tax and accounting issues, providing accurate and timely guidance to clients and team members, and reviewing tax returns and work papers to verify accuracy and compliance.
- Mentorship and Development Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to junior staff members, fostering their professional growth and development in tax and accounting practices.
- Effective Communication Communicate complex tax concepts and strategies to clients in a clear and understandable manner, while also contributing to business development efforts and identifying opportunities to expand services.
- Process Optimization Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure consistency, accuracy, and efficiency in tax preparation and review processes, actively seeking opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
- Ethical Standards Uphold firm policies, standards, and ethical guidelines in all aspects of work, maintaining integrity and professionalism in client interactions and internal operations.
- 2 years of experience in public accounting, demonstrating a proven progression in tax return complexity, scope, and research.
- CPA is a must for Tax Managers and ideally EA other levels but not required
- Exp. with High Net Worth is ideal but we are open to all focuses
- Knowledge of Quickbooks
