Job Summary:
Recru is a fast-paced energy management group seeking a Business Intelligence Developer. This hands-on role focuses on data integration, data warehousing, and ETRM systems, requiring expert knowledge of Microsoft’s BI Stack and experience in SQL database administration.
Responsibilities:
• Expert hands-on knowledge of Microsoft’s BI Stack (SSDS, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
• Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server) and architecture
• Experience in SQL database administration
• Working knowledge of server/query optimization techniques
• Experience working with large datasets
• Experience working with time series or pricing models
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Full proficiency communicating in English in a business context (verbal & written)
• Strong sense of ownership, proactive, and ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Ability to think strategically, critically, and creatively
• Create and maintain documentation
• Working knowledge of data visualization tools like PowerBI and/or Tableau a plus
• Working knowledge Office 365 applications like PowerApps and Power Automate a plus
• Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related discipline/experience
• Eight (5) years of experience Microsoft’s BI Stack
• Three (3) years of experience Office 365 applications
Preferred:
• Working knowledge of data visualization tools like PowerBI and/or Tableau a plus
• Working knowledge Office 365 applications like PowerApps and Power Automate a plus
• Energy Trading or Risk understanding
• PowerBI and/or Tableau
• Python (emphasis on ETL)
• PowerShell
• Oracle Database
• Cloud platforms like Azure and/or AWS
