• Ensure the stability, performance, and integration of essential Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications
• Leverage strong technical and problem-solving skills to diagnose complex issues
• Deep dive into application code and databases
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for effective solutions
• Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME), understanding application functionality and architecture
Qualifications:
Required:
• 1 year professional experience in software development, system integration, or supporting enterprise COTS applications by investigating codebases and database structures.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, Angular, React, Vue.js).
• Database management systems experience (MSSQL, ORACLE, MySQL, PostgreSQL - MSSQL is core).
• Familiarity with Windows Server operating systems.
• Understanding/experience with MQTT protocol and JSON for data interchange.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to analyze/interpret existing application codebases, logs, and database schemas.
• Familiarity with API integration (e.g., REST, SOAP) for connecting COTS applications.
• Excellent verbal/written communication.
• Work effectively in team environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers, vendors, engineers).
• Strong analytical/critical thinking.
• Willingness to learn new technologies/methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
