Job Summary:
Norm Ai is the Compliance AI Platform for legal standards-based reasoning & workflow automation. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be integral to the development of AI-driven compliance solutions, working directly with all aspects of the code stack to enhance both client-facing products and internal tools.
Responsibilities:
• Improve the product–both our client facing enterprise product and in support of our internal legal engineering tools team.
• Work on scaling problems–ensure our customers get top-notch availability and reliability on a particularly bursty system.
• Remain on pace with emerging AI use cases-constantly push the boundaries of what is possible
• Bring product intuition–iterate and obsess over the customer's experience
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelors or Masters in computer science or an equivalent field, or equivalent practical experience
• 2 years experience writing Python, TypeScript, or similar for production use
• Experience working with a Postgres database or similar
• Experience writing APIs using a framework such as FastAPI or similar for production use
• Interest or experience in working with a complex AI-driven product, (i.e. streamed outputs, dynamic agentic site navigation, etc)
• Interest or experience in working with PDFs, excel, or file-driven products
Preferred:
• Experience dealing with database scaling problems
• Experience building highly configured or abstracted UIs tied to editable schemas stored in a database
• Experience working with AWS infrastructure or similar
• Experience working at an early-stage startup
• Excited to work on product and work/iterate with customers
