Job Summary:

The Product Analyst will monitor Visa Direct portfolios, analyze performance, and collaborate with various teams to optimize client engagement and drive usage of Visa Direct services.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor and analyze the performance of Visa Direct portfolios across LAC, identifying trends, growth opportunities, and areas for improvement and collaborate with business development, product, and operations teams to drive Visa Direct usage and optimize client performance.
• Prepare and present detailed reports and dashboards to internal stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, market insights, and actionable recommendations.
• Provide subject matter expertise to clients on Visa Direct capabilities, compliance requirements, and best practices. Track and report on portfolio growth, activation rates, and transaction volumes, providing data-driven insights for portfolio optimization.
• Segment portfolio by client type, geography, and product usage to tailor engagement strategies and maximize portfolio value.
• Identify underperforming portfolios and design targeted action plans to increase client activation and engagement.
• Collaborate with risk and compliance teams to ensure portfolio activities meet all regulatory and security standards.
• Forecast future transaction volumes and revenue trends to aid strategic planning and budgeting.
• Gather and analyze client feedback to identify portfolio enhancement opportunities and inform product development. Manage portfolio health metrics, including client churn, transaction declines, and service-level adherence.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred:
• 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
• BA/BS required. Post Graduate degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with payments, or digital solutions
• Excellent communication, storytelling and presentation skills necessary in Spanish and English
• Expert level in Excel and advanced level in PowerPoint skills required.
• Communication skills are critical in this role both written and oral. The role will require extensive collaboration with multiple teams.
• Critical thinker, strong organization skills, ability to summarize findings from data, curiosity to deep dive on root cause of trends.
• Ability to identify key strategic issues and to generate and deliver creative and innovative solutions to problems and opportunities.
• Detailed oriented, is expected to ensure highest level of quality/rigor in market analysis.
• Strong team player, self-motivated and the ability to work independently at coordinating cross functional activities, obtain buy-in and elevate issues at critical junctures appropriately.
• Curiosity about financial/payment industry and a desire to roll up your sleeves to help take open-ended and ambiguous areas of interest and help to bring clarity to the team.
• Good understanding of the banking and payments landscape in the whole Latin America and Caribbean region
• Knowledge of Visa, financial/payment industry, Fintech as well as P2P and funds disbursements market experience
• Close affinity with scheme-based payments.
• Experience in working with API and ISO standard financials services systems.
• Experience with digital payments
• Background in client services and operations.
