Job Summary:
Waymo is an autonomous driving technology company with a mission to be the world's most trusted driver. They are seeking a Software Engineer to join the ML Platform team to design and build scalable data infrastructure that supports machine learning models.
Responsibilities:
• Report into our Head of ML Platform
• Design and build the next generation data generation framework at Waymo.
• Collaborate with ML practitioners on designing the schema & infrastructure in managing the ML datasets.
• Collaborate with other infra teams to make sure we have an efficient end-to-end data pipeline for model training.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 2 years of professional experience in the field of software engineering
• Experience in programming C
• Experience with building highly scalable distributed system
Preferred:
• Experience in building ML data infra
• Passionate about building internal infra & tools
