Job Summary:
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is innovating new ways of building massively scalable distributed systems and delivering the next generation of cloud computing. The AWS GovCloud (US) GTM team is looking for an eager, curious and self-motivated Associate Technical Program Manager to support shaping, defining and delivering technical services and features for customers using the AWS GovCloud (US) region.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Senior Technical Program Managers, business and product teams to deliver customer experience improvements
• Define, execute and improve operational mechanisms and reporting required for region operations to include ticket management, dashboard development and account onboarding
• Deliver and manage various internal and external communications platforms/artifacts
• Lead customer data analysis supporting product management and product roadmap development
• Drive process improvements and mechanisms that reduce friction for AWS teams
Qualifications:
Required:
• 2 years of experience in program management, technical program management or product management at a Cloud Service Provider, technology/software firm, systems integrator or US Government agency.
• 2 years of experience defining, operating, building and/or managing products and large scale IT systems.
• 2 years of experience with cloud computing and the US public sector/regulated industry.
• Proficient use of program management, BI and analytics tooling.
• BS degree or higher (ideally in a technical field such as computer science or engineering).
Preferred:
• Understanding and technical competency in the areas of cloud computing and distributed systems, web services and enterprise software.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, and scope business requirements.
• Experience delivering and executing within cross-functional team structures.
• Ability to own and internalize goals and create appropriate action plans.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience with FedRAMP, DOD SRG, ITAR, CMMC, DFARS, ICD503 and other compliance/security regimes germane to the Federal Government and US Defense Industrial Base.
