Job Summary:
B4Corp is a small defense contracting company that focuses on providing an optimum environment for mission-focused, highly skilled consultants to support the United States of America’s intelligence community and other defense organizations. They are seeking a Data Scientist to engage with customers, develop IT and data science solutions, and analyze quantitative data to meet complex analytic requirements.
Responsibilities:
• The Candidate shall engage with customers to determine the nature of requirement or analytic problem, evaluate options, and offer Information Technology (IT)-based recommendations and options.
• The Candidate shall advise Customer on IT and data science methods and data needed or available to satisfy the requirement.
• The Candidate shall develop IT and data science solutions to enable the exploitation of databases and files; devise data collection and strategies.
• The Candidate shall identify potential additional data sources and automate collection processes.
• The Candidate shall integrate, analyze, evaluate, and assess quantitative data (using statistical software, computer models, geospatial models, software languages, mathematical models, machine learning) to contribute to or develop IT sand data science solutions to requirements (software tools, analytic models, or reports).
• The Candidate shall conduct statistical, mathematical, geospatial or data-mining analysis in partnership with other colleagues.
• The Candidate shall anticipate and project a wide range of possible outcomes using scenario and alternative analyses, machine learning, and agent based modeling or other advanced analytic techniques.
• The Candidate shall identify, use, or develop a wide range of methodologies and analytic tools to address existing or potential problems and collection strategies.
• The Candidate shall prepare, and communicate a wide range of strategic, highly complex graphics, computational models or tools, or written and oral assessments.
• The Candidate shall leverage multiple data management tools to organize relevant information and make decisions.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Position Requires a Top Secret (TS/SCI) Clearance with a Polygraph.
• Developmental (0-2 years’ experience)
• Full Performance (3-5 years’ experience)
• Senior (6-10 years’ experience)
• Expert (11-15 years’ experience)
• SME (16 years’ experience)
• Demonstrated experience collaborating across the US Intelligence Community (USIC) to identify and close gaps on complex intelligence problems, with a strong ability to devise data collection and analysis strategies.
• Demonstrated experience supporting SIGINT collection, analysis, and operations.
• Demonstrated experience with SQL scripting and querying.
• Demonstrated experience with Elastic Query Language and Kibana dashboards.
• Demonstrated experience developing systems, processes, or tools with a strong ability to analyze and exploit complex data sets.
• Demonstrated experience in advanced cyber operations to include knowledge of internet protocols, IP addressing, and use of virtual machines and emulators.
• Certification(s): Elastic Data Analyst certification.
Preferred:
• Demonstrated experience with SIGINT and Customer’s collection.
• Demonstrated experience with Customer’s knowledge management databases and repositories, and tools with a strong understanding of IC knowledge management databases and repositories.
• Demonstrated experience working with Customer supporting operational programs and writing to Customer standards.
• Demonstrated experience performing geospatial analysis for critical high-tempo missions.
• Demonstrated experience with pattern of life, link analysis, and deep dive SIGINT and geospatial data forensics, with a strong ability to analyze and exploit complex data sets.
• Demonstrated experience providing sophisticated briefings that clearly and concisely convey highly technical analytic projects.
• Demonstrated experience briefing liaison partners on highly technical information.
• Demonstrated experience working with commercial vendors to integrate and provide workforce access to commercial systems on Customer networks.
• Demonstrated experience creating and distributing minutes or after-action items, with experience providing sophisticated briefings that clearly and concisely convey highly technical analytic projects.
• Demonstrated experience in the Customer’s space, with specific systems, processes, policies, and possessing supporting knowledge of operations.
• Demonstrated experience using critical thinking skills to innovate and resolve issues.
