Job Summary:
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a leading cloud platform, and they are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for the Healthcare and Life Sciences segment. The role involves partnering with customers to design cloud architectures, driving the adoption of AWS services, and educating clients on best practices for cloud solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services on the AWS platform
• In partnership with the account management team, formulate and execute a strategy
• Educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
• Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community
• Author or otherwise contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as white papers
• Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
• Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
• Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base and industry verticals
• Knowledge of cloud architecture
Preferred:
• Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering)
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
• Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking
• Experience with architecting and deploying AI/ML and GenAI solutions, data lake and data analytics architectures.
