Job Summary:

They are seeking a Software Engineer I to join their Release Platform team, where the role involves contributing to the development and maintenance of infrastructure tools and services that support application deployment and operation.
Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of infrastructure tools and services used to support application deployment and operation.
• Implement small, well-defined features or improvements under guidance from more senior engineers.
• Collaborate with peers to understand system design and translate requirements into working code.
• Participate in code reviews, ask questions, and apply feedback to improve your skills and code quality.
• Assist in debugging and resolving issues in development and production environments.
• Learn and follow engineering best practices, including source control, unit testing, and documentation.
• Continuously develop your technical knowledge through hands-on experience, pairing, and self-guided learning.
• Contribute to team documentation and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent experience (bootcamp graduates encouraged to apply).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python or Java preferred).
• Familiarity with fundamental computer science concepts such as data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
• Exposure to version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development practices.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn, and ability to ask thoughtful questions when facing challenges.
Preferred:
• Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, or monitoring tools.
• Basic understanding of containers or Kubernetes.
• Experience working on personal or academic projects that demonstrate your problem-solving skills and technical growth.
