Job Summary:
Chase is seeking a top-tier Sr. Quantitative Analyst to join their Auto Data & Analytics team, which leverages data and analytics talent to build competitive advantages. The role involves driving business performance through insightful data analytics and reporting while fostering a culture of pragmatism and simplicity in problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
• Leverage technical skills to develop SQL code to mine large complex data sets (via Toad, Alteryx, etc.)
• Use critical thinking skills to learn the business process, identify ROE opportunities, and use analytics to develop initiatives to capitalize on those opportunities
• Create analytical or statistical models (e.g., Python) as a solution when a business opportunity is identified
• Harness leadership skills which allow you to work independently, take ownership, and accountability of the projects assigned to you
• Align to evolving business priorities and deliver on strategic solutions that drive successful execution on those priorities
• Design and develop rich visualization dashboards that efficiently summarize performance metrics and KPIs and provide self-serve capability to the end-users in intuitive and meaningful ways
• Coordinate with multiple business partners to ensure that all business needs and projects are appropriately identified, prioritized, and executed. Manage delivery in agile format
• Provide strategic partnership on executing on data strategy that promotes modern data architecture, governance, and democratization of data access
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or other relevant field and 5 years of relevant work experience. Advanced degree is preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills to clearly communicate solutions/recommendations to end users
• Track record of executing large-scale automation initiatives using data exploration, enrichment, and preparation tools such as Alteryx
• Subject matter expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau and ability to identify best practices and uphold highest standards of quality in dashboards and analytical solutions
• Experience with big data technologies and programming languages including Python, Spark, or Scala.
• Solid proficiency in developing reporting solutions and providing data analytics.
• Ability to perform independent research and discovery around data environments, processes, and tools and provide impactful solutions
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and data tools and work independently as well as within a cooperative, team environment
• Ability to manage execution and delivery of multiple projects in an agile manner and adapt to changing business priorities while still meeting delivery deadlines.
Preferred:
• Advanced degree in a relevant field
• Experience in modernizing reporting and analytics delivery infrastructure
• Ability to foster innovation including Big Data technologies along with the development of programs to train and enhance associate skillsets
