Hansen Talent Group is seeking a Senior Developer / AI Agentic Engineer to establish a new core competency in agentic AI systems. This is a newly created role focused on designing, building, and deploying advanced AI agents while supporting complex enterprise applications. This role in hybrid, onsite in Columbia, SC 3 days/week.
What You’ll Do
Hansen Talent Group is seeking a Senior Developer / AI Agentic Engineer to establish a new core competency in agentic AI systems. This is a newly created role focused on designing, building, and deploying advanced AI agents while supporting complex enterprise applications. This role in hybrid, onsite in Columbia, SC 3 days/week.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement complex enterprise applications and AI-driven solutions
- Design and deploy agentic AI systems, from concept through production
- Build reusable AI frameworks and accelerators to support future use cases
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions
- Lead or provide technical expertise on complex projects and system enhancements
- Perform debugging, testing, documentation, and post-implementation support
- Research and evaluate emerging AI models, frameworks, and architectures
- Application development or systems testing experience
- Hands-on experience in AI, ML, or Generative AI development
- Strong Python development experience for AI/ML solutions
- Proven experience delivering Generative AI solutions into production
- Experience with:
- Agentic AI concepts (reasoning, planning, tool use, autonomous systems)
- AI frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, Deep Agents, Claude Skills, etc.)
- LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, or similar)
- Prompt engineering, RAG, and API design
- Cloud platforms (AWS preferred), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- FastAPI or Flask, SQL
- Experience with MCP, AutoGen, embeddings, and knowledge stores
- Reinforcement learning, planning algorithms, or multi-agent systems
- Multi-cloud experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
