Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled RF Drive Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting drive tests to evaluate and optimize wireless network performance, ensuring seamless connectivity and coverage. The RF Drive Test Engineer will play a critical role in troubleshooting, analyzing root causes, and implementing solutions to enhance network quality.
Duties:
Conduct comprehensive drive tests across designated areas to collect RF signal data and assess network performance.
Basic Requirements;
1- i7 10th Generation, ex i7-10710U or better processor;
At least 32 GB RAM;
At least 500 GB SSD hard disk;
Dedicated graphics card (ATI or Nvidia);
Windows 11 Pro;
At least 3 USB Type A or C ports (USB Type C to Type A adaptor will be needed);
2- Car- Test vehicle requirements are as follows:
Non EV/electric powered SUV or full size pickup with back seat;
Panoramic glass roof;
Non-carbon fiber body;
No metallic glass tinting;
No engine auto-off feature or ability to disable;
Minimal or zero RF emitting features, or ability to disable;
Ability to mount two magnetic base antennas on the roof of the vehicle;
Power requirements: Preferred option is to use 1 AC outlet (with minimum 400 watts capacity) and 1 USB charger socket Ex: Ford 150 with “Pro Power Onboard”. Alternate option to use 3 cigarette lighter plugs and 1 USB charger socket. The configuration is depicted in connections diagram that will be provided with training materials; and Vehicle anti-theft system.
3- Sim card- Provide competitor SIM cards or E-SIMs for UE and tablet with premium unlimited 5G data plan accounting for all deployed technologies. Cost will be invoiced
