Experience:
- 10-12 years in IT with 8 years specializing in basic Java, DevOps, CI/CD, and Platform Operations in regulated banking/financial services environments
- Core Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Gitlab, Docker, OpenShift/Kubernetes. Proficiency in Python/Shell scripting, Git/GitHub, and SonarQube/SAST for DevSecOps automation.
- Key Responsibilities: Lead enterprise CI/CD pipeline development, platform migrations (physical → containerized/cloud), tooling modernization (Gitlab).
- Leadership: Collaborate cross-functionally with Dev/QA/Security/Infrastructure, and deliver high-velocity, zero-defect releases in highly regulated environments.
- Preferred: Experience with Grafana, Prometheus and ESaas Kibana, observability tools, and large-scale enterprise migrations
- Exhibit advanced Java skills with a thorough understanding of multi-threading
- Building backend services using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot 3.0
- Designing and integrating RESTful APIs, JPA, Ignite cache, Camunda and databases like MS SQL/Oracle etc.
- Possess extensive experience working with pub/sub frameworks and associated technologies such as Kafka and Kafka streams
- Applying Test-Driven Development (TDD), and DevOps practices, and Docker for containerization
- Be a capable programmer with a passion for clean, efficient code using Object Oriented Design principles
- 5 years of work experience with Core Java
- 4 years of work experience with DevSecOps
- 8 years of work experience with DevOps
