Hansen Talent Group is hiring a Workstation Support Technician to support a large enterprise in Columbia, SC. This role is hybrid, 3 days a week onsite.
What You’ll Do
- Install, configure, and support workstation hardware and software for IT users
- Assist with workstation rollouts, upgrades, moves, and peripheral setup
- Troubleshoot and resolve Tier II desktop hardware and software issues using documented procedures
- Maintain and replace workstation equipment; track inventory and coordinate replacements
- Perform user data backups/restores and provide day-to-day user support
- Support software testing and evaluation prior to production deployment
- Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field or 2 years of relevant experience
- Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills
- Experience supporting end-user hardware and desktop software environments
- Familiarity with workstation equipment and IT support tools
- Ability to lift and transport equipment as needed
- A Certification
- 1 year of technical operations or desktop support experience
- Experience with ServiceNow, Azure, and Microsoft Office
