Associate Attorney - 1-5 years of litigation experience (employment law-Plaintiff) - Deposition experience (taking/defending) required
Qualifications:
- Active member in good standing with the California State Bar
- 15 years of litigation experience (employment law preferred)
- Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage cases independently and meet deadlines
- Desire to grow as a trial lawyer and litigator
- Deposition experience (taking/defending) required
- Trial or trial-prep experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage your own docket of employment law cases from inception through trial
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial briefs
- Take and defend depositions
- Appear in court to argue motions and advocate for clients
- Engage with clients and help shape case strategy
- Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and negotiations
- Assist in trial preparation and serve as second chair where applicable
