What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weekend Security Guard position at JobsRus.com Formerly CorTech?
The primary function of the security guard is to monitor incoming and outgoing traffic at the facility. The security guards are the first to interact with drivers, visitors, customers, and others and need to demonstrate good interpersonal skills. On the weekends there is less traffic and more inspecting of the plant and the gates/grounds. This position is staffed 24/7, including holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Authorize/direct incoming and outgoing traffic
- Maintain accurate records
- Take incoming calls
- Turn lights off/on during weekend
- Secure and inspect all outside gates during weekend
- Inspect the plant hourly during weekends
- Alerts the plant of threatening weather
- Delivers lab plate to cooler on weekends
Pay - $20.03 hour
Weekend 12 hour shifts: (rotate every other weekend)
Fri 11pm - 11am
Sat 11 pm - 11 am

Sun 11 am - 11 pm

Required:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- Working knowledge of Alarm & Security Systems
- Good interpersonal skills
- Follow GMPs and Safety protocols
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Wear steel-toe shoes or boots
