Lng Facility Inspector

Joe Knows Energy is seeking an experienced LNG Utility Gas Inspector to provide field leadership and inspection oversight for LNG facilities and related gas infrastructure projects across the NYC market. This role is ideal for inspectors with strong technical knowledge of LNG operations who can operate confidently in a fast-paced, highly regulated, and high-visibility urban environment.This position offers a long-term opportunity for seasoned gas professionals to elevate safety, quality, and compliance standards while continuing to grow their careers within complex LNG and utility operations.Compensation & SupportDaily per diemMileage and toll reimbursementOptional housing availablePay rate varies based on experience and OQsOvertime opportunities availableCompensation:$100,000 Responsibilities:Inspect LNG facility construction, maintenance, and operational activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and work methodsProvide inspection and oversight support for LNG storage, vaporization, and associated gas distribution systemsVerify contractor adherence to company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practicesEnforce OSHA regulations and ensure all LNG and job-site activities meet safety and environmental policiesEnsure compliance with all Environment, Health, and Safety Plan (E-HASP) requirementsMaintain accurate and detailed field documentation, including daily inspection reports, material tracking, and testing recordsVerify safe and proper use of tools, equipment, and materials within LNG operating limitsCoordinate professionally with contractors, utility representatives, inspectors, and stakeholdersSupport Quality Assurance field visits and auditsManage multiple work scopes simultaneously, from active construction through project close-outMaintain a professional on-site presence and serve as a safety and quality leader in the fieldQualifications:API 1169 Certification – RequiredPrior experience inspecting LNG facilities strongly preferredExperience with gas distribution systems and utility constructionWorking knowledge of LNG safety standards, operational controls, and regulatory complianceStrong understanding of OSHA and utility safety requirementsAbility to work effectively in the NYC market, including traffic, permitting constraints, public interaction, and evolving field conditionsStrong organizational, documentation, and reporting skillsProven leadership and communication capabilitiesComfortable using digital field reporting systems and technologyHigh School diploma, GED, or equivalent industry experienceAbout CompanyFor all of our team members (Joes): We provide a values-driven, Kingdom-focused culture that puts people first, prioritizing growth and professional development.
