Overview
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with strong operating room skills for our Operating Room Coordinator. As a vital member of our healthcare facility, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
This position requires good OR experience and someone who is eager to grow into a leadership role. This position caters to a lot of moving parts. They run the board for the day, assist with daily assignments and safety huddles, facilitate staffing needs, and assist with staff schedules as well.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments pre-operatively and post-operatively to monitor vital signs and overall health.
- Administer IV infusions as required and manage patient ventilatory support during surgeries.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives within the operating room department.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Proven experience in an Operating Room setting preferred; familiarity with Level III Trauma Center protocols is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control practices.
- Proficient in IV infusion administration and patient assessment skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with medical staff and patient education.
- Experience in memory care or medical office settings is advantageous but not required.
