Summary of the Position:
The maintenance technician II independently repairs and performs complex electrical and mechanical maintenance on various food processing equipment, systems and related machinery panels, excluding maintenance and repair of related pipe and tube media delivery systems. The person in this position independently completes changeovers on a large number of lines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoots, repairs and performs complex electrical and mechanical maintenance on various food processing equipment, systems and related machinery panels independently.
- Performs routine preventive maintenance on equipment. Utilizes hand and power tools to facilitate work.
- Works in fabricating as needed, excluding fabrication activities related to pipe and tube media delivery systems.
- Assists in other building maintenance or repair activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Five plus years of experience in repair, maintenance and troubleshooting
- Advanced knowledge of electrical components and wiring
- Advanced mechanical skills
- Advanced troubleshooting skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.60 - $35.23 per hour
