At ARCH Placement, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our team at our Community Health Center in Bayboro, North Carolina. Our growing organization has been serving the community for almost 50 years and consists of 6 locations with over 30 providers.
Job Summary
- This is an outpatient position that offers a flexible weekday schedule and the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical evaluation, treatment, and consultation services to patients of the clinic according to accepted standards of care and applicable laws and regulations.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, including chief complaint, past medical history, family and social history, review of systems, medical examination, treatments, medications, and allergies.
- Prescribe and administer medications, order tests and referrals as needed, and provide patient education.
- Supervise assigned midlevel providers and other clinical staff, delegating authority and responsibility when necessary.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of medicine and completion of residency training.
- Current and valid medical license in good standing with the North Carolina Medical Board.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (Healthcare Provider) required within six months of hire date.
