What are the responsibilities and job description for the Architectural Designer / Project Manager position at John Lively & Associates?

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to shift focus on multiple projects, yet maintain a balanced workflow and meet deadlines
- Ability to self-manage to meet current project commitments
- Ability to listen effectively and possess a wiliness to learn
- Communicate daily with project manager
- Support the team in creation of residential building designs by producing accurate construction drawings, including, schematic design, design development and construction documents
- Experience producing construction documents for residential construction
- Familiarity with current residential building codes
- Ability to collaborate with interior and lighting designers, a/v contractors, developers, general contractors, clients, and vendors
- This is an in person, in office position
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Preferred degree or certification in architecture or equivalent past work experience
- Preferred 2 years of residential wood frame construction or relevant work experience
- License in Architecture a plus but not required
SKILLS:
- Proficient at Revit required
- Proficient at Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook
- Preferred drafting experience
- Preferred Residential / High-end custom home experience
- Preferred experience with client interaction
