What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coach position at JOHN PAUL II?
St. Elizabeth's School in Alice, Texas, is seeking to hire a full-time coach.
The duties of the coach will include:
1. Formulating and planning all physical activities. This includes but is not limited to sports activities.
2. Coordinating extra-curricular sports activities with the designated parties.
3. Encouraging and promoting a positive attitude towards both winning and losing to his/her students and assistants.
4. Supervising assistant coaches, paid and volunteer.
5. Being responsible for obtaining the appropriate materials and equipment to be used for instructional activities.
6. Honoring and adhering to the code and directives of the Parochial Sports League of the Diocese of Corpus Christi, of which the school is a member.
7. Attending meetings, in-services, and workshops as directed by the Principal.
8. Performs any other duties that the Principal may deem necessary.
Must be at least 21 years of age. Must support the goals ofCatholic tradition in education.
The coach will plan and implement the instructional program for all athletic activities. The coach will adhere to and comply with all specified terms of the Office of Catholic Schools Teacher Job Description.
Must successfully pass a criminal history background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening
Must successfully complete Safe Environment Training
