We are seeking a Financial Manager to support multiple programs in the Power Projection Portfolio that is managed within the National Security Analysis Department (NSAD), but spans multiple sectors across APL.

As a member of our team, you will collaborate with external customers to play an active role in the overall financial success and operational efficiency of a multifaceted program management office.

- Primarily be responsible for preparation, review and analysis of financial data including performing monthly updates of project plans, highlighting financial spending and staffing trends, identifying anomalies and calculating financial projections.
- Help manage all of the financial operations to successfully deliver financial data to government sponsors, program managers and executive management.
- Perform a broad range of financial operations functions, including leading all efforts related to contract support, financial administration and providing sound guidance and recommendations for best practices to leadership.
- Work on proposal type activities including collaborating with team leads to identify staff requirements, resulting in an accurate and fully compliant proposal package for submission to government sponsors.

- Have a Bachelor's degree in a field of Business (e.g. Business Management, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent).
- Have at least one year of relevant experience in the areas of financial and cost analysis.
- Have proven ability to be a self-starter with a high level of initiative and ability to effectively communicate with internal and external sponsors.
- Are highly motivated to work in a fast paced environment.
- Have the ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
- Are highly skilled in Microsoft Excel.
- Are detail oriented.
- Are able to obtain a Secret level security clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.
- Can demonstrate that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. - Have previous experience in DoD contracting environment.
- Have working knowledge of FAR and federal government pricing procedures.
- Have experience with proposal preparation and project financial reporting software.
- Have an active Secret level security clearance.
