POSITION SUMMARY
As Sales Director, you will lead the commercial team and activities for the JohnsByrne Health, Beauty & Wellness market with a focus on delivering sustainable growth within this key Specialty Packaging market for the organization. You will be responsible for directing the day-to-day activities of the sales team : establish priorities; provide guidance and coaching, while monitoring progress to deliver results. Customer relationship management in partnership with the sales team will be required to support the development of strategic partnerships as a catalyst for growth.
General understanding of marketing strategy and ability to implement and execute with focus is desired. This role requires cross-functional collaboration to drive projects to completion and most importantly to provide clients with best-in-class service, creativity and quality – key differentiators for JohnsByrne. This role requires someone willing to roll up their sleeves in the field as well as work directly with company leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute key account strategies in conjunction with the sales team and align with JohnsByrne corporate strategy to achieve new business growth, budgets and retention goals.
- Manage / grow the pipeline for the Health, Beauty Wellness markets with a focused approach.
- Partner with creative team at JohnsByrne to drive outbound packaging innovation to generate market interest and unlock opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with marketing to leverage insights to foster meaningful relationships and position JohnsByrne appropriately within the marketplace
- Provide day-to-day leadership to the health, beauty and wellness sales team : establish priorities; provide guidance and coaching, monitor and communicate progress towards plan.
- Manage and execute Health, Beauty and Wellness sales funnel through Salesforce.com
- Administer new business development programs within health, beauty and wellness to create accountability for the sales team.
- Periodic reporting to leadership of progress against plans
- Travel as required to meet goals.
