What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Order Selector position at Johnson Bros. Bakery Supply, Inc.?
We are looking for an experienced Order Selector to join our warehouse in Carrollton, TX as the Lead. As the lead selector you will be required to assist the warehouse supervisor in the following areas: all aspects of SAFETY, customer service, order selection, order accuracy, general maintenance of warehouse and equipment and personnel supervision. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that daily operational needs are met and exceed daily performance expectations and to increase the company’s overall performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Distribute orders
- Help maintain daily operations tempo at a high standard. For example, selectors are clocking in and out at the proper times, selectors are productive during work hours, following up with selectors as the day progresses
- Assist selectors when they are falling behind
- Ensure all selectors are complying with company regulatory and safety policies
- Check orders
- Maintain and utilize warehouse equipment and perform user level preventative maintenance
- Coordinate loading
- Be a key holder and lock up for the day
- Open on Sundays for loading and organize Sunday rotation amongst order selectors
Qualifications:
- Regularly required to lift 50lbs or more
- Regularly required to stand, stoop, squat, lift and kneel
- Operate motorized pallet jack
- Operate standing forklift
- Any other duties or tasks that the company requires
