Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Retail Merchandiser to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the visual presentation of our products and ensuring that our retail environment is inviting and engaging for customers. This position involves collaborating with store management to implement merchandising strategies, maintain inventory levels, and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute merchandising plans in accordance with company guidelines and planograms.
• Supervise and train team members on merchandising standards and store management practices.
• Utilize Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for creating visual designs that align with branding objectives.
• Conduct inventory management, including stocking shelves, pricing products, and maintaining accurate inventory control.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance promotional displays and in-store marketing efforts.
• Ensure compliance with schematics and remodeling requirements to optimize store layout.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the retail space to create a welcoming shopping environment.
• Monitor sales performance and adjust merchandising strategies as necessary to drive sales growth.

Skills

• Proven experience in supervising teams within a retail environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for visual design tasks.
• Strong background in marketing principles related to retail sales.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions.
• Familiarity with schematics, planograms, and interior design concepts.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
• Strong leadership qualities coupled with effective communication skills.
• Experience in merchandising, stocking, inventory management, POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling.
• Knowledge of retail math for pricing strategies and inventory control.
