Position overview

As a Maintenance Technician at Jolly Pets, you will play a key role in ensuring all equipment, machines, and infrastructure operate properly within our facility. You will be responsible for conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and performing repairs to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency. This role will report directly to the Roto-Mold Department Supervisor of Jolly Pets.

What You’ll Do

· Conduct routine maintenance tasks on production machinery and equipment.

· Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

· Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components.

· Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address maintenance needs.

· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.

· Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery.

· Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

· Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability.

· Perform record keeping including time accounting, work order systems and machine parts management.

Qualifications

Who You Are

· A maintenance technician with 5 years of experience, who has successfully complete the appropriate training programs for the operation of powered industrial trucks. (Forklifts, scissor lifts and aerial lifts)

· High School diploma or general education degree (GED);

· Strong background in both industrial mechanical and electrical fields.

· Experience with rotational mold equipment.

· Welding experience preferred

· Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.

· Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.

· Automation knowledge or training preferred

· Must be able to read and understand technical manuals and drawings.

· Strong background in either an industrial mechanical or industrial electrical field.

· Proactive and self-motivated attitude.
