POSITION: Full-time Nursing Instructor
DIVISION: Associate Degree Nursing
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Nine (9) Months
COMPENSATION: Salary commensurate with education and experience

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Full-time classroom teaching on campus, and off-campus clinical instruction.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Teaching theory and clinical,
- Curriculum planning, implementation and evaluation in coordination with other faculty,
- Commitment to continuing education and clinical competency,
- Participation on committees
- Participation in academic advising.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing, with functional emphasis on the educator role
- Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience
- Currently licensed to practice professional nursing in the state of Mississippi
- Can competently teach in an online format utilizing a learning management system and video capturing software
- Clear criminal history background check
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Medical-Surgical clinical experience
- Three years of teaching experience
