Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Lead Maintenance Technician will be responsible for coordinating and leading the efforts to perform all required maintenance at the Patterson location, They will lead and maintain all projects and contractors in accordance with all regulatory requirements and good manufacturing practices in a safe, efficient manner.

  • Schedule and lead outside contractors for and all maintenance for the Patterson location
  • Repair and maintain plant equipment and facilities
  • Perform routine PM maintenance and lubricants
  • Repair, calibrate and test plant equipment as required
  • Maintain records for calibration and maintenance work performed
  • Operate and maintain maintenance equipment and tools
  • Follow safe work practices to maintain safe working conditions
  • Insure building exteriors and grounds are clean and free of hazards such as snow and ice
  • Create purchase orders for any items needed to maintain the building and equipment
  • Order and inventory all necessary supplies and parts to perform required duties
  • Maintain and adhere to annual departmental budget
  • Perform routine audits regarding maintenance and safety
  • Manage all 3rd party vendors for maintenance and facility needs
  • Complete all required documentation
  • Develop and Implement best practices
  • Execute other responsibilities as required

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Technical/trade school certifications
  • Computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Strong interpersonal, mechanical and verbal skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 5 years electrical and/or mechanical maintenance preferably in an industrial production environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34.36 - $38.17 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
